I should of measured first lol. But for some reason I thought this came with a draw string (like most covers do) to help it fit on your AC unit. The size is more for the back side of the unit and not the front. Or a really huge unit. Dunno what kind of monster unit people are using for this to fit on. And even though it says it helps “hide” cords, cord was just too heavy and brought the whole thing down. Overall it’s good quality and it’s too much of a hassle to return (bought three), so I just did some back woods engineering skills to make it kinda fit on there and let the cord roam free on the floor. I hope I don’t have anyone sneeze outside my window, the cover will fly away and I’ll never see it again. Only docking a star for no drawstring power. Attached a photo to not wow you with its glory.This is well made, and seems to block the cold air really well (we installed it on a cold, rainy upstate NY day). It holds its shape better than other covers we've had. It did take two of us to get it on, but that's because the elastic is REALLY strong (it kept popping off when I tried to do it alone!). Once it's on, it's ON. It's a nice bright white and has a crisp shape, so it looks nice in the dining room.I was looking for an affordable option to cover my ac. I wasn’t 100% sure how well it would work, but I’m very impressed. This has eliminated the drafts in my apartment completely. I live in South Dakota where winter temps range from 30 to -30. I’ve noticed a difference in my heat bill. I unplugged my ac unit and wrapped the chord around it so that there are no gaps.This cover was easy to install and the elastic around the edge held it in place, just not sealed. The New England November wind slid right in under the bottom edge. Anywhere else this would be fine. In real winter locations try adding an external cover or a hardware shop for a cover that includes a plastic sheet to wrap the front of the unit under the insulated cover. And then before a Nor’easter add a layer of insulation too!I just received it and I love it! It has velcro inside to keep you ac wires enclosed. It is not a tight fit but I plan on putting foam under it to make it a tight fit and give it double insulation.Was great!Too soon to tell how long elastic lasrsredid my room had old grey one never thought about changing it out... bought the pretty white one .., wow ! what a difference!!! made the room so much better!The convenience of not having to take your AC down each winter is not worth having a weird pillow-looking thing sticking out of your window for 6 months.
