This was perfect for my tiny apartment. I think it’s great and it moves easily. It’s a bit bulky when you have a tiny living space but it does us good. The only thing is that as soon as you turn it off, the room doesn’t stay the same temperature that the fan was set to and it will go back to what it was before. But when it’s on it really keeps the room cool. I think it’s great for small spaces. I wouldn’t recommend for anything bigger.In live in AZ and as you may know it gets a little toasty during the summer!!!!!!!!! Anyways I have a very wimpy A/c unit, I needed more cold and this was able to do the job. I’ll run both a/c and this unit and it cools down the room A-LOT quicker which was the goal, my apt is about 700sq ft so small but cooled my bedroom well. Super easy instal was done in mins, remote works well, easily portable, I bought the 10000 btu unit I kinda wished i bought the larger model is my only issue.Oh!! Not a drop of spillage anywhere and you don’t have to drain the thing ever!!!!!!!!!!!This product is doing exactly what we needed it to do. It was pretty simple to put together and It's cooling a good size living room. Not cold. Very comfortable. My Mom who is over 80 years is enjoying it and that's more than I can ask for.The controls are easy. The timer once I figured it out works great. The timer can only be set when the unit is on or off.Otherwise: This is a great buy and I would buy it again when needed.Our home AC went down in June and while we waited (and waited) for it to be repaired, got this AC to use while WA State was in a heat wave of 100+ weeks. This little thing did the job of a larger, more expensive unit. Small enough to take in our rv when we are in AZ or NV. Only issue is the window hardware. The panel where you attach the exhaust hose is too short for normal sized douvle-hung windows; but the extension piece is so long that it blocks the vent. We had to cut the extension piece to size; not a big deal especially with such an excellent working unit. I'd recommend every time.The product arrived quickly. Quick and easy installation. We bought it for my dinning room which is perfect for summer. It did such a great job to cool the room down. I love that it has a remote! I will definitely get other one for my bedroom.Shoutout to the inventor of PORTABLE air conditioners! I live in hot and humid Florida, and my AC unit is on 24/7, especially during summers. But I only use a few rooms in my large house. This is a great energy saver since instead of turning on my home’s central AC, I can bring this in to cool any room I’m in. I love this product’s smart features, quiet operation, and efficiency; it cools up a room in an instant. I love that it’s remote-controlled, so I don’t have to get up to adjust the settings if I’m too hot or too cold (like I would with my central AC unit). Plus it’s easy to install, and more of a sustainable product than other ACs!Purchased during Prime days at a fantastic price and hoped it would be everything the good reviews said it was. It is! I have a 450 sq ft studio that get direct sun for half of the day. The place ends up an oven and its completely miserable. This AC has made a huge difference in comfort level for me. Set up was super simple tho I did use duct tape to secure the window piece. My window lifts not slides open from the aide. I just cracked the window open, set the window piece against it and secured it with tape. Works perfect.I have no complaints with this unit....its quiet, forced air is solid, fairly light and easy to move, and cools my little home perfectly. Great product!It's nice I like it, keeps things cool and if you like white noise to go to sleep to the fan or the A/C is perfect. For those of you that claim it's too loud, it must be the first time you've ever purchased an A/C because they're all somewhat loud Karen. We got it around April 20th and we were expecting it by the beginning of May.Secondly, it was a very easy set up. you do not need to put it together yourself, you just need to attach the hose and the hose attachments.There is some noise to it, but tbh I like background noise. The air is nice and cold, we currently have it set to 68 degrees. Will update this review if anything goes wrong, but so far I'm giving it 5 stars for the price, the delivery, and the overall performance.For the price paid, it is a good device. Easy to start. Additional accessories are also easy to install (with user manual included). So far for a few days of very hot weather, it has been good at cooling two rooms in the house. It is over a longer period of use that we will see the quality of manufacture of this model. But so far we are satisfied. :-)I make some additions of info on this machine:It works with us from a 120 volt alternating current. I don't know if it would work well on the battery in a caravan vehicle. Additionally, this system is 28 inches tall by 12 wide; so it takes up space. For noise, it is acceptable if it is placed far enough away from where you sleep (we can compare it to the sound of a refrigerator).Works fine but it's very big and needs a lot of space in the window and in the place you are going to place it. The noise is a little bit loud but if you sleep with a fan on is very similar to the sound. I live in Canada in a basement and my windows are not that big so the window vent kit is really big for mine and I had to place it in the only window in my house that fits. Also, I'm not able to fully close my window when I have the A.C on. If you live in a dangerous neighbourhood it's probably not the best option since your window can be opened very easily. Overall, works fine, I'm waiting for summer to see if will handle the heat but so far it works well.I bought this portable air conditioner to keep the basement dry. It is convenient to use with detailed instructions on how to install. The portable feature makes it energy efficient because I no longer need to turn the central system on. It can keep my basement dry without using too much electricity.
