I debated for a bit between a 3 or a 4 star rating. Deciding to go with 4 stars when compared to the whole idea of these mini coolers and because it is honest on the store page. Here's some bullet points on my thoughts.- It's kind of loud for its size. Most fans are, though. I swear it's already gotten louder after two days of use.- The gimmick of using ice to cool down the air is neat, but only lasts for like 20 minutes. After that, it's just a fan.- It doesn't have any quality-of-life features such as a power pack in the fan. It has to always be plugged in. Having a chargeable power supply would have done a ton for my enjoyment of this fan.- They send an extra ice tray so that you can swap it out after the first one melts. But, they don't send an extra pad (that you also have to freeze) so that you can swap both of them out. Odd choice, likely to get you to buy an extra. I've only had it for two days and the pad is already falling apart, too.The fan is totally fine for what it is and what other fans of this type do. I wouldn't have high expectations or anything. It will cool down a small like 2ft bubble area around it. The whole idea is really gimmicky. I use it to cool down my tea and then move it near my entertainment system fans so that the air they suck in will be cooler. It works okay for that!Two small ice cube trays and a filter. One ice cube tray and the frozen filter are inserted into the unit.. Nice idea where there is no water well to clean, however does not really cool. Variable fan speed, louvers are adjustable, one color light is blue. I liked that it is very simple, nice design. I live close to marshland, which can be very humid, I heard after this purchase, these small coolers work best in dryer areas.It’s easy to use but will only do any good if you put it right in front of you it doesn’t cover much space but it was only about $20.00 so I guess you get what you paid for. Next time I will pay more to get a bigger one.Design and the description are wonderful. The only problem is that the unit is not much useful. As a result, the website and the picture description is deceiving. Not enough cold air blows out even at a close proximity. Giving three stars for design and the idea.When I purchased this, I was skeptical that a tray of ice would do much cooling. While it does not noticeably lower the temperature of a room, it does work when pointed at you. For example, while seated or on a bedside table while sleeping.I also like that much of the water that melts from the ice evaporates, so I did not have trouble with water spilling.Unfortunately, the device stopped working after only two months and about six uses. It fails to turn on when plugged in, and I have passed the limit of returning it. For this reason, I do not recommend it until they make a more reliable product.This is the perfect desk air conditioner. It will not cool down your entire room BUT it will work amazing if you keep it on your desk 2-3 ft from you. I also really like that because it uses ice and cold water I can have it pointing at my face and not get dried out since it adds humidity to the air. Comes with 2 ice trays so you can keep one in the freezer while youre using the other one. Love it! I will say to me it is a bit pricey for essentially being a fan with an ice compartment but it works so well I can look past it.I read the reviews before purchasing so figured it worked pretty good ? well for me I could barely feel anything blowing out of it. So wasn't what I expected at all so I returned. I can say that's one thing I do like about Amazon I've never had a problem with returning anything.Unit leaks water, does not blow cold air “cooler” air when the water tray has been frozen but not cold air as advertised. Two settings that really do not make much of a difference to the amount of air that is being circulated through the unit.No lo compren amigos, el que yo tengo se chorrea el agua de dónde hay que ponerla y aparte hay que meterla al congelador, y el frío solo dura 20 minutos, después de ahí ya solo sirve como ventilador, no compren cosas chinas porque además no tiene marca y esta muy caro.Tenía mis reservas porque el ventilador tiene calificaciones encontradas, tanto muy buenas como muy malas, pero la desesperación por el calor que ya inicia me hizo comprarlo, y quedé muy gratamente sorprendido. Lo coloqué en una repiza a 50 cms de mi cabecera y a una velocidad baja se siente perfectamente la briza fresca. Cabe recalcar que es un "aire acondicionado" personal, nunca va a enfriar un cuarto, a 1 mt de distancia ya no se siente el aire y lo estoy usando en un estado donde las temperaturas máximas son de 35°, pero para mis necesidades está perfecto. Tiene un diseño vintage muy agradable y las charolas para congelar tienen una marca donde indica el máximo de agua a llenar, y es la misma cantidad que puede retener la charola de escurrimiento, pero para evitar algún accidente sería buena idea colocarlo sobre una bandeja.Tengo aire acondicionado en casa, pero casi no lo uso porque gasta bastante luz. Tengo 127V y necesitaré a futuro un aire inverter 220V. Sin embargo, para mi lugar de trabajo, basta con un ventilador pequeño USB. he comprado este ya que puedo llenar una pequeña charola de agua y congelarla. al colocar la charola en el ventilador, el aire sale un poco frío, lo cual es agradable.Cosas que me gusta: el diseño, la luz led azul que trae, fácil de usar.Cosas que no me gustan: no sale mucho aire, es un flujo muy limitado, debes tenerlo bastante cerca. totalmente personal. el hielo no dura mucho, quizas unos minutos, quizás 30 minutos?nota: la charola de agua no se puede remover por seguridad, debes primero remover la charola de hielo y el filtro. es por diseño, está bien.lo iba a regresar, pero ya busqué en amazon y no veo ningun modelo similar a este, me lo quedo y lo recomiendo. viene con un cable usb blanco, lo puedes conectar a tu laptop, pc o a un cubo cargador. yo lo he usado incluso con una batería de esas que se usan para cargar celulares cuando estas en la calle. funciona bien.Bien a mi me gusta experimentar y aprovechar el aire frio yo uso tres y que creen tengo mi aire frio en precio bajo el peque si echa el aire frio pero ponlo a una buena altura de 30 a 40 centimetros y con los tres que compre en amazon a precio relampago y si me valio la pena mi cuarto es muy caliente como mas de 40 grados y mas en aguascalientes y sin lluvia , bien el peque si hiela y sin hielos pero la rara esponja azul conserva mas el frio y apoyandome con el otro enfriador de agua el aire se mescla perfectamente y cae un aire pesadamente frio y estando a un metro y medio si llegan si pones el de mexico lanza vapor frio se mezcla uniforme como si tuviera un aire acondicionado sin tanto gasto y si se lo recomiendo. Pero con los dos de la primera foto con estos bastan y sobran los tres no usan control remoto a veces su aire frio te hacen dormir como si tuvieras adelantado a mes de otoño por el frio pesado para un calor fuerte la primera foto estan de lado derecho y la segunda foto esta de lado izquierdo si me enfria muy bien, después de una semana de uso se murio =/ si enfría pero dejo de funcionar después de una semana tenía una caja hielera tronada y filtro azul un pequeño pellizco y lo use a así me gustó pero su funcionamiento deja mucho que desear lástima que es caro y carece de refracciones lo tuve que devolver, le doy un 3 estrellas lastima =(Es un ventilador MINI, con buena potencia para soplar aire para una persona. Tiene un compartimiento donde se coloca un plástico con hielo lo que permite que el aire sea frío como el de un aire acondicionado pero sin el consumo de energía de un compresor enfriador, si vives en una zona con altas temperaturas cualquier ahorro de luz cuenta mucho.Muy recomendado
