These are great and any open top condenser should have them. Keep all the leaves and sticks out.Plastic protective caps on tie downs fell off and into AC unit almost immediately.Very easy to install, works very well as we live in a very leafy area. Works as designedI needed a mesh cover for my A/C unit because of the amount of leaves that fall on the unit and eventually get into the unit. I first purchased 1/4 inch wire mesh which I would have to cut to size and attach it some how. However, I saw this unit on Amazon and it was the right size and the price was very reasonable and all I had to do was attach the bungy cords on the four sides with the mesh unit and I was done. If it took me less then five minutes to attach it to the A/C. Leaves do not penetrate now into my A/C unit at all. My A/C tech came out to service my A/C system and was so impressed with the mesh unit he said he wanted to take a photo of it to show his customers and said he will recommend this mesh unit to them. It appears that the material used in the manufacturing of the mesh unit seems to be of high quality. I live in Florida where it get very hot in the summer so I do not know at this point in time how long the mesh unit will last; however, given the price, and the ease of attaching it to the A/C, when it goes I will not hesitate to order another one.Does the job. It's keeping debris out of my ac. Great buyAttached to my unit in seconds and with stood strong wind conditions without lifting up or coming off.This device will be used mainly toward the end of the summer as it does create a tiny bit of drag on the condensing fan motor as observed by me viewing the mesh rise a bit off the unit meaning it can restrict the air flow which is recommended to check by the seller of the cover.Next summer I may try it and see if head pressure is increased using this device or not but right now with temperatures here running in the high 80's and lower it has been fine so I'll be looking at this when were are back in the 90's to 100+ temperature ranges again next summer... If that is the case it is still fine for an over the Autumn, Winter and part of Spring protection against leaves etc getting inside the condensing unit while not in use..Satisfied with purchase to date. Will wait to determine durability.
