Does a good job of clearing the airAnytime I can purchase a product made in USA that's what I'll do .... I wish more people would consider this when purchasing things !I never thought much about filters for my HVAC (furnace and air-conditioning) system. But as wildfires became more common on the West Coast, I realized I needed to up the quality to filter out smoke particulates. And then came COVID, and it became even more important in my home to filter the recirculated air the year round. And I am using my air-conditioning more than ever in the summer, with record hot temps in this region.While lower MERV (minimum efficiency reporting value) filters are very inexpensive, they don’t intercept much in terms of particles, etc. In addition, it’s recommended to change the filter every month or few months, depending on the MERV value.MERV 13 filters out many airborne problems (see image of label for description). This package of three MERV 13 filters is a very good deal, and the filters seem very effective. Such a thing is really impossible to tell for a layperson like myself, without an air-quality testing device in my home. But my air smells fresh, and (it’s summer now) my central air-conditioning is working smoothly, efficiently, and quietly, pumping through a lot of air (for an older system).I like that these are made in the USA. They fit the intake vent of 14x20x1 perfectly and are sturdy. Note that when I ordered these, there was a typo in the listing that made it look like the physical size of the filter was larger, but I think that typo has been corrected—these fit perfectly.My lungs and nose tell me these are very good filters and the pack of three is efficient and well priced.I bought these filters for my air conditioner, which fit very snugly. They are easy to install and have a good quality feel to them.I like that they are made in the USA and not overseas like most other brands. The price is great for what you get.
